Yes, you read that correctly. The new Loomers album is going to be getting underway very soon. We're heading into the studio to record 14 new songs in a few weeks and with any luck we'll have a brand new album in our hands in the fall. We'll do our best to keep you updated on our progress... wish us luck!

Big news Loomers fans... we've been busy rehearsing new songs for a brand new Loomers album! As of right now we've got 7 or 8 ready to play live and we'll be tackling another 7 or 8 soon. Jack discovered the answer in the Hanover, MA newspaper in an article describing an historical book about local birdhunters:
"A man like Bert couldn't seem to waste all his time just catering to city-bred guns and waiting for a gaggle of geese to get drawn into a live decoy set-up, so Bert was always prepared to put off on the outside of the beach in pursuit of the wily whitewings. Bert believed in big decoys --or real 'LOOMERS,' as they were known locally -- and always had a rig of them ready to go."
